Crinkles

In 2015, I scribbled this idea for a label logo on the back of an envelope.

‘It’s perfect,’ Bryin, the bassist in our band The Knights Project, said, ‘even the crinkles.’ He pasted it just as it was on the back of our EP cover.

I toyed around with the idea of starting a collectively-run label for the next few years, but it wasn’t until 2020 that I finally got around to making the logo into a square, digging out the description I wrote and then shelved, and asking old and new friends to contribute a track to our first compilation. I hope you enjoy looking around at what we’ve been making, in all its glory, and its crinkles.
